Simon Purnell was born and raised in Venezuela. Simon moved to Texas to attend the University of Houston. Upon graduating, Simon continued his education at the South Texas College of Law. During his tenure in law school, Simon was very active as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Law Journal and was also a strong advocate on the nationally recognized Moot Court teams. After graduating, Simon went on to prosecute cases for the Harris County District Attorney in Houston, Texas. Since his time there, Simon has represented clients in the civil and criminal world and successfully first chaired trials to verdict throughout the United States in both State and Federal Courts. His love for litigation has led Simon to be recognized as one of the few attorneys who thrives in trial, no matter the size of the case. From petty offenses to multi-million dollar claims, Simon has stepped up and proudly announced “ready for trial” on behalf of his clients throughout the United States. In addition to his love for advocacy, Simon is passionate about his wife, Christina, and their five children, who delightfully consume all of their spare time.
