Lawyers in the state of Illinois have made progress in the much-publicized lawsuit against the Swiss seed manufacturer, Syngenta.
According to an Illinois-based news agency, judges in Williamson County, Illinois are set to try hundreds of cases related to the Syngenta lawsuit, which is reportedly approaching “a billion dollars in damage,” according to the report.
Phipps Anderson Deacon is equally dedicated to helping farmers who have been damaged by the negligent actions of Syngenta. We believe that our clients are entitled to damages related to this case and we are dedicated to helping them receive reparations in this case.
Syngenta is accused of releasing some of their genetically-modified corn seed products to market before securing approval from China. This action led to China’s refusal of an import in 2013, which damaged farmers and their crop value.
